There are several methods of physical rehabilitation within chiropractic care that can be used individually or in tandem:

Adjustments

Corrects your structural alignment to improve overall body function and relieve pain and/or discomfort; can be used with forms of physical therapy.

Muscle Stimulation

Form of physical therapy where electrodes are placed on the skin and deliver a low level of stimulation to the place of irritation to begin the process of healing.

Hydroptherapy

Form of physical therapy that promotes muscle relaxation, soothes sore and/or inflamed muscles and joints and relieves pain.

Ultrasound

Form of physical therapy that promotes joint and tissue relaxation through the use of therapeutic sound waves applied to the place of tightness, pain or discomfort.

Intersegmental Traction

Helps reestablish the

normal ranges of the spine while reducing muscle spasms and promoting muscle relaxation; known

to accelerate recovery

from spinal injuries.

Cold Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy is low-intensity laser therapy that stimulates healing while using low levels of light. The procedure is painless and each treatment typically takes a few minutes.

Spinal Decompression

A type of motorized traction that may help relieve back pain. Spinal decompression works by gently stretching the spine. That changes the force and position of the spine.

Pulse Wave Therapy

Pulse Wave Therapy is a reparative soft tissue treatment technique used to treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. It's a non-invasive, effective way to treat pain.

Chiropractic has been known to treat much more than this list specifies. These are just some of the most commonly treated conditions.
